The Northern Kentucky Medical Society embarks on a dramatic, new project in public education.

"HealthLine", a one-half hour television program produced by the Medical Society, was broadcast on the Insight Cable Network channel ICN-6.  The program provides viewers with relevant information about personal health, analysis of trends in medical care, news about healthcare initiatives in our community, suggestions for a healthy lifestyle, and so much more.

Each HealthLine program includes two feature segments designed to provide in-depth information on a specific topic or theme, often using on-location video.  Also, each program addresses current issues in healthcare in a segment entitled "MedicalMinutes", and viewer questions were answered in the segment entitled "HouseCalls".  Even though new programs are not currently being produced, the HealthLine back episodes are now available as streaming Windows Media on this  website. Click here for the video archives.

Are you a  Physician? Here's why you should belong to the Northern Kentucky Medical Society and the Kentucky Medical Association.

We are your voice in Frankfort and Washington!

By supporting the NKMS and the Kentucky Medical Association with your membership dues, you support the entire medical community.  Not only physicians, but other medical providers, hospitals and pharmacists have benefited from the lobbying efforts of the NKMS and the KMA.  The NKMS has been very successful in helping to elect legislators who are pro-physician.  Doctors from the NKMS and the KMA were instrumental in effecting the repeal of the provider tax and in the enactment of the prompt payment bill, and will continue to work hard in Frankfort and Washington..
